01 Biographical Sketch
Dr. Cen Zhang is an Associate Professor and Master’s Supervisor in the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Hunan Institute of Science and Technology. He earned his Bachelor of Science from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Hunan Normal University in 2013 under the supervision of Prof. Dulin Yin. In 2019, he obtained his Ph.D. from the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics (DICP), Chinese Academy of Sciences, under the mentorship of Academician Can Li.
His primary research focuses on the controllable synthesis of two-dimensional (2D) materials and their applications in environmental and energy catalysis, including:
- Hydrodesulfurization (HDS)
- Hydrodeoxygenation (HDO)
- Electrocatalytic water splitting
02 Research Highlights
Prof. Cen Zhang’s group recently published a paper titled “Comparison of Co-Mo-S and remote control model for designing efficient Co-doped MoS2 hydrodeoxygenation” in the journal Fuel (JCR Q1, Impact Factor: 8.03).
The hydrothermal autoclaves utilized in this research were provided by Anhui Kemi Machinery Technology Co., Ltd., a contribution specifically acknowledged within the publication. We extend our sincere gratitude to Prof. Zhang and his team for their trust and recognition of Kemi Instruments. Kemi Instruments remains committed to empowering researchers in achieving groundbreaking scientific milestones.
