1200 Degree Electric Heating High Temperature Vacuum Horizontal Tube Furnace Factory

The experimental tube furnace adopts integrated control system and furnace chamber. The overall double-layer air cooling structure keeps the surface temperature under 60 ℃. The chamber is made of high purity alumina microcrystallite fiber subject to vacuum forming under high temperature. The heating element is resistance wire. The cooling system adopts double-layer air cooling structure, providing a surface temperature ≤60 ℃. The vacuum chamber is made of quartz tubes that run through the whole body. Both ends of the furnace tube are sealed with stainless steel flanges so that the furnace can work in a vacuum or atmosphere environment. The heating elements are parallel to the furnace tube and uniformly distributed outside the furnace tube to effectively guarantee the uniformity of the thermal field. With touch screen type temperature controller intelligent controller and K-type thermocouple, temperature control through 30 programmable segments with a temperature control precision of ±1 ℃ is realized.

What are tube furnaces used for?

Tube furnaces are essential, high-precision thermal processing tools used across a wide spectrum of scientific and industrial fields. Their primary advantage lies in providing exceptional temperature uniformity and a tightly controlled atmosphere, which is indispensable for sensitive and advanced applications.

Here is an overview of their key application areas.

    Materials Science & Nanotechnology

This is a core area for tube furnace use, particularly in the synthesis and processing of advanced materials.

    • Nanomaterials Synthesis: Tube furnaces, often configured for Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD), are crucial for producing carbon nanotubes (CNTs), graphene nanosheets, boron nitride, and various metal oxide nanoparticles.
    • Advanced Material Processing: They are used for the sintering, annealing, and heat treatment of a vast range of materials, including ceramics, powder metals, and composites.
    • Crystal Growth: They provide the precise, controlled cooling profiles required for growing high-purity single crystals.

    Semiconductor & Electronics Industry

The precise atmospheric control of tube furnaces is vital for semiconductor manufacturing.

    • Key Semiconductor Processes: They are used for critical processes such as diffusion, oxidation, and annealing of semiconductor materials.
    • Thin-Film Deposition: Tube furnaces facilitate processes like Low-Pressure Chemical Vapor Deposition (LPCVD) to create thin films of materials like silicon nitride, phosphosilicate glass, and polysilicon for solar cells and microelectronics.
    • Advanced Electronics R&D: They are essential for research into next-generation microelectronics and optoelectronics.

    Energy Sector

The energy sector relies on tube furnaces for developing and testing new materials.

    • Battery Technology: They are used to sinter and heat-treat critical lithium-ion battery components, including cathode materials (like lithium iron phosphate, lithium cobalt oxide) and anode materials.
    • Fuel Cell and Energy Research: They are used in the preparation of fuel cell materials and testing of catalysts for energy applications.

    Chemical & Petrochemical Industry

Tube furnaces are widely used for chemical processing and analysis.

    • Catalyst Research: They are a standard tool for catalyst activation, testing, and reaction mechanism studies.
    • Thermal & Chemical Processes: Applications include calcination, thermal decomposition (pyrolysis), purification, and sublimation of various chemical compounds.
    • Gas Reactions: They are well-suited for studying and conducting gas-phase chemical reactions under controlled atmospheres.

    Traditional & Advanced Industries

Tube furnaces also serve many established industrial fields.

    • Metallurgy: Used for heat treatment of metals and alloys, including processes like annealing, brazing, and tempering.
    • Glass & Ceramics: Applied in glass processing, softening, and ceramic sintering.
    • Aerospace & High-Tech: Used in the processing of specialty alloys, composites, and other materials for demanding applications like aerospace.

    Academic & General Laboratory Research

Tube furnaces are a staple in universities and research institutions for a wide range of experiments, including thermal analysis, thermocouple calibration, and general high-temperature material testing
